How DrainTox works
DrainTox uses slow, targeted manual techniques to encourage movement of stagnant fluid toward functional drainage pathways, reducing the feeling of tightness and swelling. Sessions include 50 minutes of hands-on treatment plus 10 minutes of preparation. The method focuses on gentle, directional work across areas where post-surgical or chronic fluid build-up occurs, allowing therapists to address localized stiffness without invasive measures.
Clients typically notice immediate lightness or decreased stiffness after a session, though individual responses vary and results are not guaranteed. Treatment pace is deliberately slow and rhythmic; pressure is modulated to comfort and any surgical healing stage. Because DrainTox is part of our Body Contouring & Sculpting Therapies, therapists integrate contour goals with fluid-management techniques when appropriate.
Post-surgical recovery and support
DrainTox is well-suited for clients managing post-liposuction swelling or ongoing fluid retention, offering non-invasive support for comfort and mobility. Before booking after surgery, consult your surgeon or primary care provider to confirm timing and clearance. Our therapists will adjust technique based on your healing stage and any post-operative instructions you provide to ensure the session respects medical guidance.
Please disclose relevant medical history, recent fevers, or active infections during booking; such conditions normally require medical clearance before manual lymphatic work. Therapists cannot assess surgical healing remotely, so transparent communication and following your surgeon’s directives are essential to schedule safely and adapt the treatment.
