Root Lift & Tone begins with a controlled lift of your natural regrowth — gently raising natural pigment up to 1" from the root — followed by a targeted color application applied to the roots only. The service is scheduled for 30 minutes and has a starting price of Starting at $145.
Because the process focuses exclusively on roots, stylists work to blend the new pigment into the visible regrowth so the touch-up reads naturally against existing color. This targeted approach is intended to refresh the hairline without altering mid-lengths or ends.
Coverage limits and trade-offs
This service does not color beyond the roots of the hair. Maximum coverage is 1 1/2" before price increases, and the standard application lifts natural color up to 1" from the root prior to applying root color. Any work required past that coverage threshold affects pricing and may require a different service selection.
Choosing a root-only refresh is a trade-off: you get a faster appointment and a focused correction, but if your regrowth shows strong contrast with the lengths, a full color or dimensional service will better harmonize the whole length of the hair.
