Most removals take 45–90 minutes depending on extension type and condition of natural hair. Tape-ins and K-tips are usually quicker; sew-ins, quickweave and hand-tied wefts take longer. Your stylist will assess and give a precise time at consultation.
When performed by trained technicians using proper solvents and gentle techniques, removals should not cause permanent damage. Some breakage can occur if extensions were improperly applied or hair is already fragile. We assess and recommend treatments to strengthen hair after removal.
Come with clean, dry hair free of heavy oils or styling products. Avoid chemical treatments for 48 hours prior. Bring information about your extensions (type, when applied). This helps us plan the safest, fastest removal and any follow-up care.
It depends on extension type and condition. Tape-ins and high-quality wefts may be reusable if adhesive and bonds are intact; many removals render extensions unsuitable. We'll inspect and advise whether cleaning, re-taping or recycling is possible.
