Tape-in extensions at Studio Chique are applied using a specialized attachment technique that creates a flat, discreet seam and a natural-looking hairline. The service includes professional blending and styling so the finished result reads as polished and cohesive. Note that the listed install price does not include hair; bundles are purchased separately and are not included in the install.
Clients should expect the stylist to place and align each tape weft for even weight distribution and movement. Because the salon does not color tape-ins, we work within available shades to match and blend; additional adjustment requests may affect timing. An extra $50 applies if the install requires more than two packs of hair, per our pricing policy.
Choosing hair and packs
We offer premium luxury hair extensions designed for long-term use and professional coloring, and you can purchase hair from us for your install. Simply tell us your desired length and we will source the appropriate packs. Keep in mind tape-ins at Studio Chique are available only in natural brown and select blonde shades; we do not color the tape-ins themselves during service.
Because hair is sold separately, plan for additional cost beyond the install starting price of $335. The number of packs you need depends on your target density and length; if your install uses more than two packs, a $50 additional charge applies. Bundles are not included in the install price, so we’ll review options with you during booking or consultation.

The humid subtropical climate in the region can affect styling longevity, so we discuss local humidity and seasonal care during your appointment to help you plan post-install upkeep.
The quoted duration for the service is 90 minutes but is an estimate and may vary with hair amount, desired layering, or custom blending needs. Because the install includes finishing styling, many clients schedule appointments before or after visits to nearby landmarks like the U.S. National Arboretum or Union Market to fit into their day.
