Service scope and limits
Closure Maintenance + Extension Styling is a styling-focused appointment that refines an existing closure and the attached extensions without removing or reinstalling them. During the visit we smooth and perfect the closure area and then create a polished, camera-ready finish. This service does not include an installation, removal, or reattachment of hair pieces.
Because the appointment concentrates on surface refinement and styling, the stylist’s time is used to correct visible seams, adjust parting and hairline blending, and deliver a finished look. If there are structural issues with the install—loose wefts, adhesive repairs, or reattachment—those require a separate service.
Who benefits most
This service is ideal for clients who already have a secure closure and extensions installed and want a refreshed, seamless appearance without a full reinstall. It suits people preparing for photos, events, or simply maintaining a polished everyday style while protecting the longevity of their installed hair.
Local commuters and families in Langdon and nearby neighborhoods can take advantage of flexible booking times for before- or after-work appointments. Proximity to Rhode Island Ave–Brentwood and Brookland-CUA Metro stations makes midday or after-work visits convenient for those traveling into Washington by transit.
Buying hair and next steps
If you need to purchase hair for an upcoming install, Studio Chique offers premium luxury extensions formulated for long-term use and professional coloring. Tell us your desired length and we’ll handle sourcing the hair so it’s ready for your installer or separate install appointment; purchases are arranged separately from this styling visit.
Remember: Closure Maintenance + Extension Styling is NOT AN INSTALL and does not include removing or reinstalling the closure/extensions. Appointments for this service are scheduled as a 60 minutes session priced at $185; if you plan to add a full install or structural work, please book the appropriate install service.
