What the service includes
This service combines cleansing, deep conditioning, and a basic braid down (maximum 7–10 cornrows) before the wig is placed and styled. The stylist prepares your natural hair so the wig sits smoothly, then positions and styles the wig to your requested look without altering lace or performing tinting.
Please do NOT book this option if any lace customization or tinting is needed. The appointment is intended for placement and styling only; any work beyond braid foundation and wig positioning requires a separate customization session or service.
How the install is performed
Your stylist will begin with a scalp and hair cleanse followed by deep conditioning to ensure a smooth foundation for the braid pattern. After the conditioning step, a basic braid down is created (up to 7–10 cornrows) to form a flat base that supports the wig’s cap and final shape.
Once the foundation is ready, the wig is placed and secured according to its construction and your stylist’s professional practice. Styling focuses on achieving a natural silhouette and the finish you want, keeping in mind that no lace work, tinting, or customization is included with this option.

The listed appointment duration for this service is 75 minutes and the price is $195. Note that the allotted service time does not reflect your total appointment time; check-in, consultation and any brief wait times can extend your visit. We offer flexible early-morning and evening bookings to serve commuters using Rhode Island Ave–Brentwood and Brookland-CUA Metro stations.
Local climate and lifestyle can influence styling longevity—hot, humid summers in the Washington area may affect hold and require simple touch-ups. Bring the wig you want installed and any straps or clips you prefer; if you need lace tinting or advanced customization, please arrange a different appointment.
