What the service includes
Our Frontal Lace Wig Install w/ Customization focuses on a secure, undetectable melt and a hairline tailored to your features. The service includes precise lace customization, lace tinting, and knot bleaching as part of the install. We create a smooth blend between your skin and the lace for a soft, natural finish suited to everyday and camera-ready looks.
Appointments for this service are detailed and deliberate to achieve the refined result clients expect. Please note the service takes 240 minutes and is priced at $485. Do not book this service if you have a full lace unit (lace all around); it is not intended for full-lace installations and will not be performed as such.
Technique and customization steps
During the appointment we begin with lace customization and careful placement to match your hairline and facial proportions. Knot bleaching reduces visible knots and lace tinting helps the lace match your scalp tone. Each step is performed to produce a smooth junction between your natural hairline and the frontal, minimizing visible edges while preserving the unit’s integrity.
Customization choices—such as hairline density, the amount of baby hair, and hairline shape—are made collaboratively. These decisions affect how natural the frontal appears and how it frames your face. Your stylist will explain trade-offs between a softer, wispy hairline and a fuller definition so you can select what fits your everyday routine and styling preferences.
Local considerations and aftercare
Studio Chique’s Langdon location serves clients who commute via Rhode Island Ave–Brentwood and Brookland-CUA Metro stations and nearby neighborhoods. We offer early-morning and evening booking options for parents and shift workers. Plan appointments around high-activity days or events to allow time for drying, setting, and final adjustments before travel or errands in Washington’s humid climate.
Aftercare guidance will be provided to preserve the melt and lace appearance. Follow stylist instructions on sleeping, gentle handling, and product use to maintain the frontal. We recommend follow-up check-ins when needed; routine maintenance helps address shifting edges or environmental effects common in humid summers without implying guaranteed timelines for wear.
