I met Ngina 15 years ago and she has been an important part of my life ever since. Over 15
years I have worked for Gina in different capacities, and in every role I was given I was
led with love (sometimes hard love) , wisdom, spiritual guidance, professionalism and
honesty. Ngina’s transparency made me trust her from the very beginning. Working at Studio
Chique has taught me just as much about life as it has about hair, and I’mbeyond grateful
for that. Gina has always put me in a position to thrive in both my personal and
professional life. Not many people can say that the person they work for loves them or cares
enough to do that. I’ve grown a lot at Studio Chique but the biggest growth I’ve experienced
would have to be me becoming a stylist at the salon after being an assistant for several
years. When I first started doing hair I lacked the skill and confidence that I needed to be
a great stylist. Gina gave me her time and knowledge of the industry and molded me into the
stylist I am today.
I still have much growing to do in the hair industry but I know
with her by my side, I will always have what I need to win.
On top of my career growth
and having a good work/ life balance, increasing my income was just as important. I felt
stuck before coming back “home” at Studio Chique and now my possibilities have increased.
